Peruvian News (Updated, July 08th): The Peruvian government increased the number of tourists who will be allowed to enter the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. The capacity for admission to the llaqta will increase from 3,044 to 4,044 visitors per day following the approval of the proposal by Mincetur (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism), Ministry of Culture Cusco. On June, July and August 2022, many visitors could not visit the citadel. We recommend you book in advance!
