Honcopampa is an archaeological complex belonging to the Wari culture of the Intermediate Horizon period.
The archaeological complex is located in the minor town center of Honcopampa, district of San Miguel de Aco, province of Carhuaz.
It is made up of a series of buildings with multiple chambers called chullpas and is divided into 2 sectors: a ceremonial one called “Ama Puncu” and a residential one called “Purushmonte”. The residential part makes up squares, structures and terraces; and the ceremonial part is a closed U-shaped plaza. There is a third sector called “Chucara Ama” located 1 km northwest of Ama Puncu.

Cold and dry climate. With an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level.
Biodiversity
The area has a very rich natural environment due to its native plants for ornamental use, native trees, shrubs and aromatic herbs for medicinal use. Some of them are in danger of extinction, the best known is the curicasha.
The representative animal of the place is the Llama, the breeding of these animals further increases the tourist potential of Honkopampa, since with them you can take walks through the ruins.
