    This version of the Inca Trail, 2 Days 1 Night, leaves from 104 km, located at 2,100 meters above sea level. (departing by train from Ollantaytambo). It is a 16-kilometer hike to Machu Picchu, where you will appreciate spectacular views of high Andean landscapes and the Amazon jungle eyebrow visiting Inca constructions on the route (Chachabamba, Choquesuysuy).

    Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – km104 – Wiñay Huayna – Machu Picchu

    Pick up from your hotels at 6:00 a.m. to transfer it for a 40 minutes trip, with private transportation to the train station in Poroy. We will board the Vistadome train, travel by train for an hour and 45 minutes to Km 104 (Start of our luxury Inca Trail hike). It is worth the effort to get up early and go with this train, which allows us to enter and start our walk early. At Km 104 after presenting passports at the control, we started to walk gently to meters of the Vilcanota River. Starting the road we will see the ruins of Chachabamba, an in-situ stone altar that served to worship the sun and the mountains, still venerated by the local people. After visiting Chachabamba, we will continue the path to the south and begin a gradual climb to the mountain, before entering a cloud forest and with lots of vegetation, then the trail goes to the forest and goes west, while we continue uphill in an open meadow. After walking 3 hours, the path descends into an amazing forest. Here we will find a beautiful waterfall, then we will reach the lower part of the ruins of Wiñaywayna. We will appreciate the beauty of this place, complemented by the information of our expert guide. After having lunch in Wiñaywayna, we will continue in the afternoon in the cloud forest, full of bromeliads, orchids, and fern trees. While we walk this last part of the road, we will pass through many impressive features such as stone stairs and tambos (“resting places”). You climb 60 stairs before arriving at Inti Punku (“the door of the sun”). From this point, you can contemplate and observe this wonderful place. Then descend for 45 minutes until you reach the famous viewpoint, from here you can observe the sunset. Descend to the entrance of Machu Picchu and then to our hotel, located at the entrance of the citadel. Dinner included, rest, plans and arrangements for tomorrow.

    Day 2: Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

    Breakfast from 05:00 am, then we will go to Machu Picchu, the park opens at 6:00 am. We have a guided tour of Machupicchu, this enigmatic and mysterious city is explored for approximately 2-3 hours explained by your expert guide, you can visit the most impressive places like the Royal Mausoleum, the temple of the 3 windows, the main temple, the Plaza sacred, the famous Intihuatana where the wise Inkas moored the sun on the winter solstice in June, stairways, squares, fountains, etc. (You will usually have then about 5-6 extra hours of free time). After finishing our masterful visit, we can go down to Aguas Calientes by bus and have free time to explore this picturesque town before boarding our train back to Cusco. The Vistadome train leaves Aguas Calientes in the afternoon at 16:43 pm (In high season train schedules may vary.) And arrives in Cusco (Poroy train station) at 8:23 pm, then we move it through 25 minutes to Cusco. You will arrive to Cusco at approximately 9:00 p.m.

    Our guide will visit your a day before the trek and He/ She will give you a briefing and more information about your Luxury Inca Trail Hike. It very important, let us know, where you will be staying in Cusco, our guide will visit your hotel 2 or 1 day before the trek for your briefing.

    Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and Our driver and guide will take to the train station. Once arrived, you will take the train to Km104, the point to enter of the Inca Trail. It is very important to present your passport original in the head trail. Then you will start the hike to Machu Picchu and Our guide will drop off in the Luxury Hotel Machu Picchu. The second day, guided tour in Machu Picchu, in the afternoon you will return with your guide to Cusco and he/ she will drop off in your hotel.
