Discover the wonder of the world, in an Inca Trail tours to Machu Picchu short, ideal for those who want a simple adventure in the middle of the Andean nature: the Hiking Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2020.

Many are the routes that take you to Machu Picchu, but none is like the Inca Trail Tours, the most famous pedestrian path in the Americas. After flying from the capital of Perú, Lima, you will arrive in Cusco to walk for two days along a path through forests and dense fog, millenary stone steps and discovering the ruins of ancient fortifications and Inca cities, and all the time enjoying majestic views.

The 2 Day Inca Trail Tour is the second option for those who did not have the opportunity to book the famous Inca road of 4 days, in addition to those who do not have much have, but who in no way want to ignore this unique experience, too It offers beautiful landscapes and variety of biodiversity.

This walk is 11 kilometers on the first day during this walk you will be able to observe and get to know one of the greatest cultures in South America: the Inca Culture. The Inca Trail is hidden among the Andean mountains with constructions high up in the mountains dominating the Andean Valley and part of the Peruvian Amazon. With the arrival of the conquerors this Culture was disappearing, but they left us some Signs and Relics intact as we will know during this walk.

How is the Inca Trail 2 day trek?

The journey that will take you from home to Machu Picchu is a combination of beautiful Andean landscapes and the impressive architectural beauty of the wonder of the world. From the fact of arriving in Peru in Lima and traveling to Cusco, you will appreciate the variety of climates and geography of Peru.

Once your body gets used to the height of Cusco, we can start the tour. Your feet will take you first to Chachabamba, at kilometer 104 of the route. Then along a path that crosses mountains of small bushes, the sacred Urubamba River, large fruit fields, stairs made by the Incas and archaeological ruins.

After the walk, we will arrive to Sun Gate. From where you will have a fabulous panoramic view of the Inca citadel. We will descend towards the town of Aguas Calientes where it will rest to continue with the excursion the next day. Take the opportunity to relax in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes.

The second day early, we will start the Machu Picchu tour. Our guide will accompany you with the magical story of the past of the Inca citadel as you experience the wonder of Machu Picchu with your sight, touch and hearing. After a free time to explore the citadel on your own, we will return to Aguas Calientes and then to Cusco by train and go private.

When is the best season to hike the Inca Trail?

The best season is to do it in the dry season, which covers the months April to the end of September. In October the rains begin and you can find Machu Picchu covered by clouds. If you travel in June, we recommend you to book the Inti Raymi 2020 Tour that takes place in June 24th, and also hike the Palcoyo Mountain Tour, which is an incredible Rainbow Mountain located in the Andes.
