This old park was renovated in 2007 and transformed into one of Lima's most visited attractions thanks to the addition of an impressive set of state-of-the-art cybernetic ornamental fountains. In total, it has 13 fountains, including the famous "Fountain of Fantasy", where every afternoon a show of lights, sound, dancing waters, laser figures, and multimedia projections is presented directly on the water.
The park holds a Guinness Record as the largest water fountain complex in the world within a public park, which makes it a unique place in its category and a point of pride for the city. What's more, within this place there are a couple of fountains where both adults and children can play and get wet among the water jets.
But, if you prefer not to get wet, one of the most curious experiences is the "water tunnel", a passage of jets that creates a surprising visual effect and allows you to enjoy the magic water circuit. Also, the space is divided into two large areas connected by a tunnel, which allows you to tour the park fluidly and discover its fountains from different perspectives.
Location of the Magic Water Circuit
The Magic Water Circuit is located in Lima, inside the Reserve Park, a historic space built in 1929 in honor of the soldiers who participated in the War of the Pacific. It is situated on Av. Arequipa, block 5, very close to the city center and a few minutes from tourist neighborhoods like Miraflores and San Isidro, which makes it an easily accessible destination for visitors.
Its strategic location allows the park to be surrounded by important avenues such as Arequipa, Paseo de la República, and Petit Thouars, making entry easy from different points in Lima. In addition, it is a short distance from attractions like the Historic Center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
For those arriving from Jorge Chávez International Airport, the journey takes between 30 and 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Thanks to its central location, the Magic Water Circuit is a perfect place for those who want to enjoy a unique night show in the Peruvian capital.

Architecture of the Reserve Park
The park not only dazzles with its fountains but also with its valuable architecture. It is considered one of the maximum expressions of Art Decó in Lima, with influences from the Belle Époque and a marked Neoclassical style in its buildings.
- La Gran Logia
The design of the Gran Logia, of Italian inspiration, consists of a gallery or portico open on both sides, supported by columns and arches that give it a monumental appearance. This space has been considered one of the main symbols of the park for its elegance and historical value. - La Casa Sabogal
Also known as the House of the Inca, it is a tribute to pre-Columbian art and the Peruvian indigenist movement. On its facade and decorations, figures inspired by the iconography of Peru's ancestral cultures can be seen, representing the Andean past in the middle of the 20th century. - Fuente de los Gnocos
This fountain houses the sculpture called “The Gnocos Player”, which represents a child enjoying a popular marble game. Beyond its simplicity, this work is a reminder of the importance of traditional games in daily life. - Monumento a Fermín Tanguís
The monument pays tribute to Fermín Tanguís, a Peruvian businessman recognized for the development of the cotton that bears his name, essential for the textile industry. The work was designed by the architect and urban planner Manuel Piqueras Cotolí, one of the most influential artists in Peru in the 20th century. - Plaza Indígena
In this space is an equestrian monument dedicated to Marshal Antonio José de Sucre, one of the great heroes of South American independence. The square not only has historical value but also cultural value, as it seeks to highlight indigenous identity.
How to get?
By metropolitan bus to the Estadio Central station. Another option is using the Integrated Transportation System that runs along Arequipa Avenue, to the Ramón Dagnino station on the entire front of the park.
We also recommend using a taxi to get to the Parque de la Reserva. It is safer especially if you visit it at night.
Finally, the best option is to take a tour that includes a tour of the magical water circuit.
