Day 1: Cusco - Machu Picchu

We went to pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 a.m. and then go with mobility for 40 minutes until you reach the train station of Poroy. We arrived around 09:00 hours and soon we boarded the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu). The train trip to Machu Picchu will last 3 hours and 30 minutes approximately. During its train journey, visitors will be able to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the Andean mountain range and the traditional villages that are at the foot of it with a great variety of plants and trees that accompany the Urubamba River or wilcamayu throughout the Sacred Valley of The Incas will also be able to enjoy a show of music and dances from the region. We will be arriving at the town of aguas calientes around 12:30 hours, here we will be waiting for the transfer and then go to the bus station and buy our ticket. We boarded a bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu and headed to the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge to check-in. Then you will enjoy a buffet lunch at your hotel and have the afternoon free to rest at the hotel and enjoy their services. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Guiaded tour

This day we will get up very early to enjoy the breakfast buffet, we will be picking up 06:00 am and we will take it to the bus station to go up to the archaeological group of Machu Picchu. Here we will begin our guided tour for 2 hours in the entire Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. In our tour in Machu Picchu we will visit the most important places of the Sanctuary such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries and much more, then you will have free time to Keep exploring, take your best pictures and enjoy the landscape that surrounds us. Concluded in tour of the citadel of Machupicchu optionally: you can do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu or the Mountain sector, this will take you a few hours, in which you can enjoy the landscape and take some breathtaking views. At 12:00 hours you will return to the hotel for lunch and then take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. You will have a little time to walk through the town and visit the craft market. At 5:30 p.m., you will take the return train to the Poroy train station, this trip takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Then we will continue with the bus trip that will bring them back to the city of Cusco, they will arrive around 22:00 hours.

The Hiram Bingham train, are exclusive blue cars and decorated with golden lines; It consists of up to 4 cars, two dining cars, an observation car / bar and a kitchen car. It is often thought that a train of this kind uses a classic steam engine. The Hiram Bingham can comfortably transport up to 84 passengers.

The experience starts at the train station. Passengers are greeted with sparkling wine and orange juice, small canapés, and a traditional Andean dance and music show. When you are already on board, the maître d 'sets the guests at tables elegantly decorated to be served by the table waiters. The tables in the Hiram Bingham are large, they are fixed to the seat and can eat in them from 2 to 4 people. After this the passengers are invited to explore the rest of the train.

A three-course brunch is served on the way out, while a gourmet dinner is served on the return trip. The menu offers dishes made with fresh ingredients brought from the Sacred Valley. The dishes on board the Hiram Bingham are simple, but elegant. This so that travelers have a clear idea of the country they are visiting; Native ingredients are used, such as aguaymanto, quinoa and tomato sacha. In addition, to ensure only the highest quality food, the chefs cook and finish all the dishes on board the train, including baking the bread; Drinks such as soft drinks, coffee and tea, local beers and wines are included at no cost in the ticket price.
