Edwin Caviedes is the founder and manager of Tierras Vivas, a company that benefits native people communities. He has traveled extensively in South America and is involved in every aspect of the business to make sure his clients have the best experience possible. His interest in the tourism industry started at an early age when he studied tourism and gained a University diploma in it. He began to work in tourism at the age of 18 years. Edwin has worked for several travel agencies being in charge gradually of bookings, operations, hospitality, customer service, guiding tours. When he worked for the travel company United Mice, he became a Coordinator and Operator of treks such as the Inca Trail, Salkantay Trek, and alternative treks to Machu Picchu. Later, he worked for GAP Adventure Travel, a worldwide tour operator based in Canada, where was in charge of bookings. Edwin is a specialist having 20 years of experience in the tourism industry.
