Tierras Vivas provides high-quality equipment for your treks in Peru. We offer Eureka tents, sleeping bags, Therm-A-Rest mattresses, dining tents, and toilet tents. Below, we have listed all the equipment that will be provided for your trek.

Personal Tents Eureka!

If you choose to trek with us in Peru, Tierras Vivas will provide either the EUREKA SQ 4XT 4 PERSON TENT or the MOUNTAIN OR EUREKA PASS 3XTE 3 PERSON TENT.

We proudly offer robust EUREKA brand 4-season tents, thoughtfully designed to accommodate two people for shared occupancy or solo travelers seeking spaciousness and comfort. Our commitment to quality extends beyond your trekking experience, as our equipment undergoes thorough cleaning and maintenance after each use.

The EUREKA tents in our inventory are specifically designated for four seasons. Despite having a 4-person capacity, we allocate these tents to only two trek participants, ensuring you enjoy enhanced space and comfort. For solo travelers, we provide a 2-person capacity tent, prioritizing your comfort and privacy.

Post-trek, our meticulous care continues, with a comprehensive inspection, disinfection, and necessary repairs to guarantee the tents' excellent condition for every adventure.

Why We Like The Eureka Tent?

  • Classic A-frame design ideal for camping
  • Fully covered rain fly for solid protection
  • Bathtub floor to prevent water from entering
  • High-low ventilation enhances airflow in warmer, drier conditions
  • Two large D-styled doors for easy access
  • Front vestibule for convenient gear storage outside the tent.

These features make the Eureka Tent well-suited for reliable performance during long treks in various weather conditions.

Dining tents, Cooking Facilities, and Eating Utensils:

Our dining tents, tables, and chairs are locally made in Urubamba, supporting the community and providing employment opportunities. Tierras Vivas sources these tents and cooking facilities, contributing to the local economy.

The waterproof and spacious tents we use ensure a comfortable dining and cooking experience throughout the trek.

Our eating utensils consist of stainless steel kitchenware, ensuring both durability and hygiene. Our trekking cooks maintain the cleanliness of the utensils by washing them with biodegradable soap during each camping session.

Upon completing the treks, these eating utensils undergo thorough cleaning in 100% boiled water for disinfection and meticulous care. We refrain from using acrylic or plastic utensils to prioritize hygiene and environmental responsibility.

Some tour operators opt for acrylic or plastic utensils to reduce weight during the trek, often using them daily without much care for hygiene and the environment.
