Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Lima for a private transfer to the Nazca tour. The drive will take approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes from Lima to Paracas. During the trip, you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful sunrise along the coast of Peru and its landscapes. Upon arrival in Paracas, our representative will be waiting for you at the port. We'll board a motorboat to begin the tour of the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, we'll encounter the enigmatic candelabra figure etched into the hillside of Paracas Bay. While its origins remain a mystery, some theories suggest it was used by pirates as an orientation point. Our journey continues to the Ballestas Islands, renowned for their rich marine fauna. We'll explore the isles, passing through impressive caves and natural rock formations that serve as habitats for pelicans, Humboldt penguins, seals, dolphins, and more. Afterward, we'll explore the Paracas National Reserve, a protected marine area designated by the national government. The Ballestas Islands are often referred to as the 'little Galapagos' due to their biodiversity.
After the boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, you will take a bus from Paracas to Nazca city. Upon arrival, our driver will drop you off at your hotel, where you will spend the night. You will have free time to explore Nazca city and visit the main square and its surrounding streets.
