Future Tours to Peru

The way we travel has changed, and today, we are increasingly aware of the risks posed by pandemics. It seems like every day we hear about a new health crisis on the news. However, this shouldn't stop you from enjoying your vacation. With Tierras Vivas, you can travel without worry.

Tierras Vivas has introduced Future Tours, allowing you to secure your travel plans for a later date. In the event of another pandemic or if the Peruvian government decides to close the borders, there's no need to worry—you won't lose your trip. You can reschedule it for a future date. It's essential to notify us in advance so we can adjust your plans accordingly. This new regulation was created to protect your investment in case of a future pandemic, ensuring you won't lose your deposit or prepaid amount for your trip to Peru.

Important Note: These Future Tours rules are only applicable in the event of a global or Peruvian health emergency.

Credit For Future Tours

The Credit for Future Tours program allows passengers who have booked tours with us to postpone their current booking and transfer their payments into credit. This credit can only be used for future tours that we run.

We believe this will reduce the number of direct cancellations caused by Pandemic
If you want to transfer your trip to other travelers, contact our Sales Department please and they will send you a confirmation.

Here Is How It Works:

If you would like credit for future tours, Tierras Vivas will delay the charging of any additional amount (if it has not already been processed), postpone the current booking, and offer credit based on the payments made so far. Customer payments for these deferred tours are held securely. Any future payments of the balance due will be adjusted as soon as the customer makes a new booking to match his/her new travel dates.

Adjust Your Own Terms Here:

• You will receive a credit voucher for the payment of the amount you have paid.
• You can use the credit for all available Tierras Vivas tours, once started to operate the trips in Peru.
• Book at least 30 days before the departure date of the new tour. Your booking is subject to availability. In the case of the Inca Trail, we recommend booking well in advance.
• Credit can only be used for Tierras Vivas tours!
• If you want to change your tour for another, you will need to pay the price difference
• Credit for future tours and any credit balance in relation to your new tour is non-refundable.
• Cancellations are subject to standard Tierras Vivas' Terms & Conditions. The credit for future tours is subject to all cancellation rights you have under applicable law.
• We hope our credit option will help you postpone your tour until we all get to the other side of the situation.

My Tour Has Been Suspended - What Is Going to Happen?

You can contact us if your tour has been suspended due to a health emergency. Your safety is our priority, so don't worry—Tierras Vivas will reschedule your trip for the future. We will reach out to check on you and offer the option to postpone your trip. If your plans are uncertain, we can wait up to one year to reschedule your tour. Once travel operations resume worldwide, we will contact you and send a notification about our office reopening.

I Have Booked Flights With Tierras Vivas - What Is Going to Happen?

We understand that many passengers may be concerned about their flight options during this unprecedented time. During the 2020 pandemic, we received a large number of requests.

Tierras Vivas will look for a solution regarding your flight tickets. Local flights are usually non-refundable, but we will contact the airlines and work towards a resolution. For these reasons, Tierras Vivas is currently unable to refund your deposit.
