Tierras Vivas works to support the Peruvian Andean communities of Pilcobamba and Rallan, near Cusco.Our travelers have the opportunity to get to know the local people, and to understand their rich cultural history. Your participation on a Tierras Vivas trip will contribute to supporting the local economies of these communities and help to develop a cross-cultural understanding.
Help the Children Project
ELIM Asociación Civil is a registered Christian non-profit organization. Its goal is to aid abandoned street children and high-risk children. As part of our mission of responsible travel, we aim to support children working in the streets and children living in extreme poverty who may be neglected physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In some of the places we visit we are our own operators, but on many of our trips, Tierras Vivas works with highly reputable local operators. These local partners are passionate and enthusiastic about the places they operate in, and offer the same high standards as we aim to provide. By working closely with these local companies, we are best able to return money back into the local economies where we travel with our groups.
